Walking/biking tracks in Wanaka

Wanaka Scenic walks Guests love the outlet track walk down river to Riversong for its beauty and ease. The Wanaka district is blessed with a full range of walking tracks, all within short distance and catering for all levels. The Rob Roy glacier walk has been described by numerous guests as the best ever moderately challenging walk and glacier experience, in New Zealand.

The Hawea River walking track has just been opened. This track is also within walking distance from Riversong B&B. Many of these tracks are also ideal for biking.

The Loop Road to Queenstown

Many of our guests take the Cardrona Valley Rd over the Crown Range mountain pass to Queenstown and Arrowtown. Returning later in the day to the peace of Riversong via the Kawarau Gorge Rd. This is a most scenic and enjoyable loop route, taking in much of what this region has to offer. Highly recommenced.
