Ian’s speciality is fly fishing. As a past Regional and National Fish and Game councilor, he has long term knowledge, experience and involvement in issues affecting fisheries in New Zealand.

Ian is happy to provide guests with the benefit of his local trout fishing knowledge, as well, and in particular, tuition towards introducing beginners to the pleasures of flyfishing in New Zealand.
